Nagarkot, at an altitude of 2,175 meter above the sea level, is the most popular touristic destination out of the Kathmandu Valley. Nagarkot is famous for viewing sunrise, sunset and a magnificent view of the Langtang range. The views go from Dhaulagiri in the west to Kanchenjunga in the east. On a clear day one can see Mt. Nagarkot view tower is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Nagarkot. It is situated around 2100 metres above sea level and can be hiked by physically fit hikers in about one hour. You will have a 360 view of the himalayas one of the broadest views of himalayas along with kathmandu valley
