Chandragiri Hill is nearest hill just out of the city which is about 2500 meter high. CHANDRAGIRI HILL in Thankot is 16 kilometres away with approximately 30 minutes drive from the capital city. From the top of Chandragiri hill visitor get to see the magnificent view of Kathmandu valley and many snow cap mountains such as Langtang range, Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, Annapurna. It only takes 10 minutes to reach the top of the hill by cable car.
